Children grow up wanting to follow a myriad of different pursuits and interests. Doctors, astronauts, superheroes, policemen, and firefighters are just a few among the hundreds of vocations we tell our folks and peers we will one day occupy. But no matter what we wish for as a children, one thing remains unchanged: our ceaseless appetite to fly. Everyone wants to fly, right?
As we get older, the desire to fly doesn’t wane. Rather, it gets stronger and more bizarre, as people like 43-year-old Arnaud Longobardi take it to new levels by deciding they want to paraglide into a moving cable car that hangs hundreds of feet above the jagged rocks that form the French Alps. All went according to plan, but Arnaud’s parachute came extremely close to pulling him right back through the way in which he entered. Crazy or not, you have to respect this guy’s impeccable precision and timing.
