Generally speaking, it’s safe to say action sports have never been more extreme. That is, 2014 blew 2013 out of the water, 2015 raised the bar once again, and with the reoccurring upward trend, we can’t see 2016 being very tame. Thanks to the advent of the GoPro, we’ve witnessed every groundbreaking moment in crystal clear high definition. And despite witnessing Mick Fanning being attacked by a great white on live television (among the several other crazy things that happened this year), surfing wasn’t the only sport that had a huge year.
