Whether you’re looking forward to it or not, it would be a downright lie for you to say you’re not the slightest interested in seeing how this season of Air + Style plays out. After all, with the amount of press Shaun White and the Rose Bowl are drumming up stateside, it is impossible to be completely removed from its goings on.
But here, at The Inertia Mountain, we’re excited. And so we decided to take a lesson from our parents and share the excitement with you by offering the entire show… LIVE.
Here is the schedule (in PST):
Friday, January 16
Round 1 – 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, January 17
Round 2, Heats 1 Through 4 – 7:30 a.m. to 8:21 a.m.
Musical Act, Kool Savas (German Hip Hop) – 8:21 a.m. to 8:53 a.m.
Round 2, Heats 5 Through 8 – 8:53 a.m. to 9:43 a.m.
Musical Act, CRO (German Hip Hop) – 9:43 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Round 3, Heats 1 Through 4 – 10:30 a.m. to 11:17 a.m.
Super Final – 11:17 a.m. to 11:49 a.m.
Award Ceremony – 11:49 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
With the show already underway, there is already a lot of buzz. The Norwegians swept the podium in Beijing with Emil Ulsletten leading the charge, stomping a massive switch backside triple cork 1440 mute grab to pull away from fellow countrymen Stale Sandbech and Torgeir Bergrem.
Anyway, if this year’s Innsbruck is even half of what last year’s turned out to be, there is a whole lot to be pumped about.
