Incredible footage emerged from Cape Cuvier in Western Australia today, as a shiver of large tiger sharks were captured devouring a whale carcass during a massive feeding frenzy. According to ABC News, the feast lasted for three days before the remains finally washed up on shore. One shark showed up late to the party and nearly beached itself while trying to snag one last bite. In the end, the scene made for one incredible video, showing just how amazing these creatures really are.
Oh, and as a side note: If a large tiger shark washes up on shore, it’s probably not a good idea to go and try to pet the thing.
