This is Mineral Basin at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. There’s nothing like getting to your favorite resort and timing it perfectly where the ski patrol opens an untouched run for you to shred. Unfortunately, sometimes that means shredding said run with 600 of your best friends. It’s utter chaos.
“Went for a lunch run,” wrote the poster, known as Mr. Hawtchetto on Instagram. “Lucked out and caught the rope drop at Mineral today. Despite the line at the top and bottom the run was all-time quality.” We don’t know how long it stayed like that.
