The Inertia

There is one majorly disorienting component to this POV edit of “a day in the life” so to speak — and it isn’t the Double Pipe. It is, instead, the fact that you will likely never snowboard as well as Ben Ferguson, so his perspective might not be the most accurate if we’re attempting to share the common experience. But our curmudgeon-y half aside, this is awesome. Nothing quite like bridging the channel gap with a casual cab 7. You know what we mean? No, of course you don’t. We don’t either. We’re happy if we bridge the gap with our collarbones in tact.

Anyway, not only is this a first-hand glimpse of greatness, but it also serves as pleasant reminder that you are not waking up at the base of Buttermilk in Aspen today (unless you are), and there are not TWO superpipes right outside your window. Instead you arrive at the office to the smell of yesterday’s pastries and an open-floor plan that, quite frankly, puts Rick a little closer to you than you are comfortable with.
