Fucking Jed. From kissing boys and posting the pictures to the Internet causing mass hysteria amongst sexually angst-ridden 15 year olds, to having the best board control in snowboarding, Jed Anderson is one of the only truly interesting snowboarders on the planet. Snowboarding used to be rife with personalities from Shaun Palmer to Damian Sanders. And, well, it was a lot cooler when it was full of socially dysfunctional maniacs. Today snowboarding lacks in the personality department and one starts to wonder how our maniacs got replace by super athletes.
That’s why Jed is amazing, sure he is one of the most talented snowboarders on the planet — but he’s also weird and funny, and that makes him (and I can’t emphasis this enough) interesting! So go be weird, ride everything, read a book, draw some pictures, and make some music with your friends. Snowboarding is best served as a creative pursuit, it allows for a riders personality to shine through in their riding, which in turn makes them a pleasure to watch.
