Brevent one of the best jumps in the world for wingsuit proximity flying. The number and quality of lines that can be flown here is unmatched anywhere else in the world. France and the people of Chamonix are amazing in being so understanding and supportive of our sport. To be able to jump Brevent legally, five-to-seven times a day, is a wingsuiter’s dream come true.
I have been wanting to jump with my friend Dario for a few years now. The timing finally worked out where we were both in Chamonix at the same time a few weeks ago. On this particular flight we did a two-way on the “Rock Star line.” Dario is one of the best wingsuit camera flyers in the world. Flying beneath the treeline all the while keeping me in frame and following my aggressive turns is very difficult for people to not only do but alos comprehend.
Sadly, this jump has had a few fatalities so it is not one to be taken lightly. It is an advanced jump that requires you to be able to fly your wingsuit quick and consistent from the beginning, and if you make a mistake — trip, step on your tail, or just have a bad exit — it could be fatal.
