The kid who makes Instagram well worth the endless parade of selfies and food porn is doing it again, this time taking to Perisher Parks to casually stomp the first backside 1440 off a knuckle. And this is only one of many “flat-ground” tricks that will have you prioritizing board control in these upcoming early season laps (the backside 1440 is at the very end of the edit).
Yep, you saw that right. A backside 1440. Off a knuckle.
With snow expected in California this week, be assured that there will be many lesser snowboarders attempting such “flat-ground” tricks — so stay safe out there and avoid the crashes and general carnage that will likely ensue. We’re not all Marcus Kleveland. In fact, only one of us is.
