Recently, I took an abalone diving trip. These ones are actually illegal to buy, so if you want them, you have to catch them yourself.
After my first time abalone diving, I’d have to say my biggest piece of advice is to hammer the hell out of them before you cook them… otherwise, they taste like crap.
