There’s no denying that sharks can be terrifying. Those black, soulless eyes, the millions of years of evolving into nature’s perfect predator, and, of course, the movie Jaws… it’s all scary. “Eleven hundred men went into the water, three hundred sixteen men come out,” remember?
That’s why getting a close-up view of the tunnel of a mouth on a great white is so interesting… because it’s so much easier to imagine what it’s capable of. Ocean photographer Anthony Kobrowisky happened to be on a cage diving trip in South Africa when this giant, beautiful creature came up for inspection.
