The Inertia

In October, Guadalupe Island is pretty famous for being a haven for very large female white sharks. Seals like to hang around the area, and seals, as you know, are delicious to sharks. Carlos Gauna, also known as the Malibu Artist on YouTube, enjoys looking for sharks, usually with a drone. He can often be found on the coast of Southern California, where he routinely films incredible footage of sharks that sometimes get a little too close for comfort to surfers. But in October, Gauna headed back to Isla Guadalupe for the mother lode of great white shark footage. And he got what he was looking for.
