In 2012, a daring group of professional explorers called the Centennial Skiers embarked on a quest to hike and ski the 100 tallest mountains in Colorado. The leader of the pack was and is Chris Davenport — yep, that Dav, the one who is a two time World Champion skier as well as all around mountaineer, professional speaker, and author. (He was even included in ESPN’s, “50 Most Influential People in Action Sports” in 2013.)
Anyway, last month Dav and fellow adventurers Christy Mahon and Ted Mahon finally completed their three year-long adventure by taming Jagged Peak, which was considered “the most uncertain mountain” in their project, capping off their pursuit of the 100 tallest mountains in Colorado. Check out this video and join the Centennial Skiers in their final trek.
All smiles here.
