The Inertia

You have to give it to Cycling Canada — this is one awesome commercial/campaign. Bicycling magazine might have said it best: “The video basically hypnotizes viewers into riding a bike.” We’re feeling more keen than usual, that’s for sure.

Collaborating with maketing agency Innocean and the visual special effects team at Alter Ego, the creative forces behind Hop On (the name of the campaign) employed computer graphics animation, crowd simulation technology, and the pièce de résistance… cyclists in what are effectively green screen suits.
