After a long day of fishing ten miles off the coast of San Diego, I jumped into the middle of the ocean only equipped with a Gopro. Eager to film the school of yellowtail under the boat, I noticed what I thought was a larger grade yellowtail/dorado swimming up to my camera. As soon as he got too close, I hit him in the head with the Gopro. No big deal right? Because I wasn’t wearing goggles, I couldn’t make out what it exactly was until I got home and uploaded the video. As it turned out, I was in for a big surprise!
