High octane crashes keep the world turning, for sure. When these professionals take to the sky, especially the skiers in the award winning Almost Ablaze by the good folk over at Teton Gravity Research, there seems to be a second or two when everything stops and they escape our atmosphere, even if only for a moment. But then they fall back down to Earth — some more literally than others — re-entering our gravitational pull. They’re grounded and the world keeps turning. This particular reel of full speed hijackings, from uninhibited backwoods and kickers to unconscionable spines, puts a little more spin than usual on our Earth’s rotation.
Ahhh… the telltale signs that you’re not going to be riding out of this one.
What do we take away from all this, aside from an exorbitant amount of cringeworthy respect for these dudes? Nick McNutt is the truest of chargers. Seriously. After that many explosions, you have to have one serious set of steel balls in place of what would be a then fledgling courage for most.
