Photographers and videographers live amazing lives — outdoor or adventure photographers and videographers even more so. And most are grateful for these intimate interactions with the places and people around them, as we, their audience, are. These photographs and videos offer us a glimpse into a plane we might not otherwise experience.
With these glimpses come inspiration to seek out our own frontiers.
But their lenses don’t only focus on the beauty and joy of life; they often see the raw hardships of an unforgiving world. And it is in those moments that their job is most important, allowing us an opportunity to not only see these raw hardships, but to hopefully sympathize with (or at the very least empathize with) another’s struggle.
