The Inertia

It’s not all that unusual for the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park to have wild visitors. The proliferation of wildlife in the area, in fact, is part of the draw. Situated at Rocky Mountain National Park, hotel guests are often treated to wild sights. This one, however, was a little closer than they’re used to.

According to Reed Rowley, the vice president of business development with the company that owns the hotel, the bear wasn’t much to worry about. It seemed as though it was simply there to have a look around before vanishing back into the night. Luckily, it decided to check out the lobby while all the guests were asleep so the only person who might’ve been worried was the person behind the camera. As you can see, however, they were not.

Oh, and as an aside—the Stanley Hotel is the same one used in ‘The Shining’. Those twins are way scarier than any bear will ever be.
