Lady Gaga is being sued by …Lost over the logo for her new album.

Lady Gaga is being accused by a surf brand for appropriating their logo for her latest release. According to TMZ, …Lost is suing Gaga for trademark infringement over the artwork for her new album, Mayhem.
In the world of surfing, the moniker “Mayhem” has long been associated with the Matt Biolos-helmed boardmaker. The name originally was a nickname assigned to Biolos, which itself came from a band he performed with in the ’80s called “Mayhem Ordnance.” The brand claims they have owned the trademark to their “Mayhem” logo since 2015.
“Mayhem” is also the name of Gaga’s seventh studio album, which was released March 7. It includes the singles Disease and Abracadabra, as well as the Grammy-winning Bruno Mars collaboration Die With a Smile. The album has been received well critically and commercially, making a number one debut on the Billboard albums chart.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, …Lost says it originally reached out to Gaga’s camp about the logo, but their concerns were not addressed to their satisfaction. Now they are seeking to block Gaga’s use of the logo and recoup damages, including profits made from use of the “Mayhem” symbol.
