This isn’t the first time, and likely won’t be the last, you hear that the East Coast just saw its best surf in…well, who knows how long exactly? Depending on who you ask, the waves that just brushed through places like Long Island have either been dubbed the best in over a decade or were flat-out declared the best ever. Considering how well our memories stick to events that deliver waves of this quality, neither assertion is hyperbole. It clearly was, in fact, that good.
Naturally, our inboxes are flooded with images and shout outs of the wish-you-were-here variety when any place around the globe lights up like this. And then we spend hours at our desks in this cozy little California office appreciating them, mind-surfing them, analyzing them. Here are a handful of our favorites.
