Winter may be over in Hawaii, but a late-season north swell in April meant there were still waves to be ridden. In his latest YouTube video, Zeke Lau took advantage of that fact, by going on an expedition to Maui to score at Honolua Bay.
It was just 12 days ago that Lau called a wrap on the winter, with what he described as the last Pipe swell of the season. However, soon after he spied another swell headed straight for Maui. It wasn’t long before he’d booked flights, packed a bag, flew down, and found himself overlooking legitimately epic waves bearing down on Honolua Bay – a place his brand of power surfing is absolutely built for.
“The waves are on,” he cheerfully exclaimed to the camera. “It looks pretty sick.”
