Editor’s Note: Norway isn’t one of those typical places that pops into your head when you’re daydreaming about a surf trip. Although, maybe it should be. Photographer and writer, Ivar Vasstveit, brings us the first installments of his five-part, mini documentary series about the surf scene in Norway. It’s cold, but it definitely looks like a whole ton of fun.
I just made a five-part mini series about the surf community in the coastal area of Jæren, south western Norway. Basically, it’s just locals enjoying their cold water surf. By no means the most exciting surf in the world, but still a nice peek into a small and humble community far north. I hope you enjoy!
