After graduating Brooks Institute, my visual journalism experience has educated me to search for true character and stories with people. But I find the ocean a character of itself. Every wave is different, every ride has its own trait. I feel that surfing for sixteen years has made me explore points of views of surfing and the true beauty of the ocean. I find my creativity and strive for what I capture through the rhythms of the woods and the motion of the sea. The true roots that motivate me is going on a roadtrip and allowing my two feet to take me where I need to explore. When I am in the ocean with my camera, I feel the energy of the surfers and most important the appreciation of what Mother Earth gives us everyday. My main goal is to encourage every viewer, to step out of their element because those are the true moments of life.
