Where should surfing in the LA 2028 Olympics be held? It’s going to be really, really tough to top the Paris Olympics, which were of course held at Teahupo’o in Tahiti. A couple options have been floated around, and rumored, including Lower Trestles and Huntington Beach. Both have their pros and cons.
In the video above, I examine the options by looking at what great surfers are saying, and checking out all the options in California. Regardless, during that time of year, and if it’s held in California, it’s going to be more of a performance wave, and not a barreling behemoth like Tahiti.
