Vince Felix and I met through Craigslist, when I was looking to move out of my truck in Ventura. He was the first ad that I followed up on and I moved in that day. I am a longboard filmmaker and he is a gnarly Longboarder, so it was a match made to be. We began filming this in January when CJ Nelson Designs picked up Vince on the team.
My experience making the film was a personal one with many pleasant trips to Malibu contrasted by roommate fighting during editing. This relationship I have with my subject allows the subtleties of his personality to emerge throughout the film.
