The Wedge is one of the most exciting surf spots in the world. The action in the water is usually my main focus but I also keep an eye on the sand as well. This episode covers some crazy things I see outside of surfing when it gets big there. I’ve seen a lot of strange and interesting things during my decade plus of filming Newport’s famous mutant wave.
There’s a lot of action away from the surfers – weddings, treasure hunters, proposals. These are the images I see on the sand, beyond the Wedge. Enjoy the show. It’s always a good one for me, whether I’m focused on the water or what’s happening out of it.
