When the video above was filmed, the waves at Ocean Beach in San Francisco were… not small. So when Pete Koff, who runs Avenue Films on YouTube, saw a fella cruising at high speeds around Ocean Beach in a Donzi, Koff knew he probably ought to train his camera on him.
“The waves were solid 15-foot,” Koff wrote. “I had some friends surfing and thats why I was out filming this day.”
According to Koff, the driver of the cigarette boat had been drinking. “Big air to flat water,” he explained. “Everyone in the boat was hurt except the driver. The hull cracked in half and the boat still made it back to its dock in Tiburon.”
