These days, our computers are inundated with aerial footage from around the globe. With increasing advancements in technology the amount of footage from above is pretty staggering. But Eric Cheng‘s work stands out. This short film shows Cape Town, South Africa, and the surrounding areas, including Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, Cape Point, Hout Bay, Simon’s Town, and Seal Island. Shot with DJI Phantom 2, a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal, and a GoPro HERO 3+ Black, his footage captures a group of spotted gully sharks in the surf near Cape Point, and a playful brown fur seal surfing.
