The Inertia

Spin, drift is a visual poem set in the Outer Banks that revels in the beauty of life and how we choose to live it. The Outer Banks is kind of a sportsmans’ paradise where what you do on any given day – whether it’s, surfing, fishing, hang gliding, or kiteboarding – is literally decided by which way the wind blows. This little project was a commission by Panasonic Global to demonstrate the capabilities of their GH4 camera. It was a rare opportunity to have total freedom to do my art in the place I love and call home, working with friends and family who all appear in this video. The companion video to this piece is called “seafoam” which attempts to capture a different feel of the Outer Banks in the off-season. Hope you enjoy!
