John John Florence shines in all kinds of surf. Barrels, airs, and beautiful carves on big open faces are all in his tool belt, but some of his most impressive surfing comes when his power is on full display. Bells Beach is a wonderful place to to do that.
With the WSL’s Bells Beach event just around the corner, the League thought it might be interesting to have a look back at his performance from 2019, a year in which he won the event. They strung together all of his excellent scores — eight points or higher — and there were a lot of them. Seven, to be exact.
