When it comes to Teahupo’o, there aren’t too many surfers who can handle it like John John Florence or Gabriel Medina. The event is done and dusted now — Jack Robinson and Caroline Marks ended up on the top of the podium — and the waves weren’t exactly all time, but a matchup between Florence and Medina, no matter the conditions, will always be worth watching. Even with their skill level, the conditions on offer for their quarterfinal heat made them work for every drop.
