Both Dane Reynolds and Dan Malloy surf better than 99.99% of the world. And the funny thing is, they surf really differently. Dan’s a bit of a mix-and-matcher, and while Reynolds can hold his own anything he pleases, you’ll most likely see him surfing something a little shorter most of the time. But when the two meet up on a tiny Southern California day after going through their enormous quivers for this video that The Surfer’s Journal made back in 2011, they make a tiny day look way more fun than it should be… and if it doesn’t make you want to learn to surf on every possible craft you can lay your hands on, nothing will.
