We’re still a week out from the Corona Open J-Bay (5 days, 12 hours, and 35 minutes according to the WSL clock), but with nowhere else to be and plenty of waves on tap, familiar faces are already showing up. Ethan Ewing, Lakey Peterson, and others were spotted yesterday putting in the work to get ready for game day. If only the rest of us could surf one of the best waves in the world and call it a productive day at the office.
It’s been a season of tough luck for the WSL in terms of wave quality, but given how good the waves look, above, and with bigger and better swell in the forecast, we could possibly be in for some incredible action once things get under way at the world’s best righthand pointbreak in South Africa. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer.
