The Inertia

When it rains in Hawaii, it really pours. It’s not that sideways, awful, cold rain that some places get, though. It’s a warm downpour that makes everything fresh and clean. The rivers fill and all that water’s got to go somewhere. If you know anything about Jamie O’Brien, you know he looks forward to that excess of water pouring into the ocean, especially when it pours in at Waimea Bay. That’s because the Waimea River, when it’s unleashed into the bay, creates one of the best river waves on earth. In his latest vlog, Jamie goes from a really good river session into some incredibly heavy shorebreak. And, as usual, it looks like yet another good day in the life of Jamie O’Brien.
