What do you get when you mix an unmoored barge and the biggest swell to hit Indonesia in decades? Hint: it looks like this.
Yesterday, photographer Owen Milne slid this little number into our DMs causing our faces to collectively twist in horror. No one was on board and no one was injured, according to folks on the ground. Still, it’s hard not to cringe with cinematic comparisons like that wave from The Perfect Storm swirling in the imagination.
We reached out to a handful of those present for more details and plan to update when the sun rises in Indo. For now, enjoy a few additional angles of the horror.
