There are a handful of families on the North Shore that are as engrained as the waves. The Ho family is one of them. Mason, Coco, Michael, Derek — all names that conjure up images of perfect Hawaiian waves and perfect surfing. The bloodline is full of accolades from World Titles to Triple Crowns and Pipe Masters, but most importantly, they all love the simple act of surfing and this particular stretch of reef. And in the short edit of unreleased footage at Pipeline and Backdoor (which includes Kala Grace, Mason and Coco’s cousin), that love is very obvious.
