Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle lashed parts of New Zealand over the last few days, bringing heavy rain and high winds. It also brought a serious run of waves to Coolangatta with Greenmount firing on all cylinders.
Greenmount is one of the best waves on the planet, and it just so happens to be in a country with a lot of surers. That means, of course, that when it gets good, it can get really, really crowded. But just one of these waves makes it all worthwhile.
