Tony Hawk. What more can the guy accomplish in the world of skating. Apparently, front-flip board transfers. Which, obviously look extremely tough. Hawk puts on tape more than a few failed attempts to transfer from the half-pipe onto a special landing board he created, which you can see waiting for him on the ramp when he finally comes close.
“Have been thinking about this flip-board-transfer thing for a couple years and finally tried to make it a reality last week, going so far as to create a comically-shaped landing board,” he wrote. “The hardest part was aiming for the landing zone, and then leaning forward once I actually got on it. This edit represents about half of the attempts that day.”
He added that he’s pretty much over not completely sticking it. The man’s 51. We’ll give him a pass.
