Jackson Dorian is growing up under the wings of some of the greatest surfers of all time. His father, Shane, is a big-wave living legend. Kelly Slater is his godfather. He recently headed south of the border, where he was able to surf with another icon, Tom Curren. Watching Tom Curren and Jackson Dorian surf is a look at how the past influences the future.
“Surfing with Tom was awesome because he had the perfect point break style,” Jackson said. “You could tell he grew up at a point break and he had a super cool style; super flowy high-line. He was riding an awesome fish with weird fins. It was awesome. He’s a super nice dude.”
