Last December was pretty epic. We took off to meet up with some friends in a tiny surf town on the Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. Needless to say, apart from the tropical scenery, the surf played a fundamental part in why we went. One of my buddies that lives down there linked me up with a bunch of local dudes that grew up and lives in the area.
They are easily some of the finest surfers that I’ve ever had the honor to hang out with. One of their pals, Ryan Gast, who owns a local surf shop, sponsors most of their gear. Others actually have some solid surf careers going for themselves like Anthony Fillingim, who was 2014 Latin Pro Tour Champion.
Of course, I didn’t miss the opportunity to bring back some footage of the boys on their boards. This here’s a little snippet of it. Enjoy!
