$Hurricane Sandy made a huge impact on the East Coast. One afternoon, while the storm was barreling up the coast, a friend and I decided to shoot some photos. We had to take the side streets because the town of Ocean City was under a mandatory evacuation. I shot this from my friend’s car window as we were cruising around. $It looks inviting until you find out the water’s in the mid 30’s and the wave breaks in 2 feet of water. Not to mention the high for that day was 39 degrees. My name is Nick Tribuno. I’m 20 years old and currently living in Ocean City, Maryland. I first picked up a camera my senior year of high school. I’ve been mainly focused on shooting surf for about 2 years. I’m attracted to shooting surf because no two waves are the same, which makes each photo tell a different story.
