The Inertia

Kirra is a super-famous wave for a reason: it’s pretty much perfect. It’s one of those waves that’s so good, wave pool makers likely had it in mind when trying to create a perfect man-made wave. When it really fires, it’s pretty much incomparable. It is, however, a well-known wave, and since Australia is one of those places with a LOT of really good surfers, it’s not exactly the easiest place to get rides.

MySurf.tv recently strung together a bit of footage featuring Parko, Midget, and many more scoring life-long memories at Kirra in the summertime – and they’re some of the throatiest summertime Kirra tubes we’ve seen in quite some time.
