Among Hollywood’s numerous surfing celebs, Chris Hemsworth (aka Thor) has to be the most famous. Or at the very least, one of the most capable.
Anyway, it’s apparently been a practice of Kelly Slater and the WSL to invite celebrities with a penchant for surfing to Lemoore lately to bask in the exclusivity of the Surf Ranch experience. Because if there’s one thing famous athletes and celebrities don’t get to do enough it’s being treated to extremely exclusive experiences.
As expected, Hemsworth surfs the place alright – by his own admission he’s not a pro surfer. But the whole thing has us wondering how many little edits like this the WSL is currently sitting on? It’s become the strategy of the League lately to fill their social media channels with Surf Ranch content between contests and Founders’ Cup coverage. The question is: who’s next?
