The WSL is no stranger to criticism, a lot of which is directed at their marketing choices these days. “Tell me this shit isn’t getting out of hand,” commented Dion Agius on his Instagram following their rather ostentatious Brazil promo. Their latest campaign is pushing their athlete jerseys: for just $50 a pop, YOU can be John John Florence! Tyler Allen, who has a gift for satirizing the most obnoxious things on your screen (e.g. Trump), was quick to pick up on this one. He managed to assemble a cast featuring the likes of Dane Reynolds, Taylor Knox, and even WSL commentator Strider Wasilewski, and it made for some pretty amusing hooliganry.
