The South Bay ACTUALLY had real waves. The best swell we’ve had in years hit on December 8-9, 2020. The last few days saw surfers, photographers, spectators and even YouTube personality and filmmaker Casey Neistat out at the beach. Good-sized barrels and some beautiful open faces were just a few of the reasons this was the best wave event to hit the South Bay region of Los Angeles in…well, I already said that. But it’s worth mentioning again. The video will back me up. Have a gander.
