This video from Drew Alston in St. Thomas is absolutely terrifying. This is what Hurricane Irma looks like in real time. And it’s outrageous. The comments on the Facebook video ask one great question over and over again: “Why didn’t you evacuate?” Apparently, as he says in the video, he’s fortunate enough to be at the Ritz Carlton. So we get to see what 180-mile-per-hour winds look like. Be safe out there.
