People are surfing an artificial wave in Prague! When you think of Prague you think of its stunning architecture and rich history. But surfing? Yes, there’s surfing in Prague at Vlny Stvanice and there’s a group of surfers who rip it daily.
These surfers were having an absolute blast. It’s so much different than ocean surfing. Number one, you don’t have to paddle out. That’s a positive. There’s no getting caught inside.
Obviously, it’s not the same as an ocean wave. There are no barrels or closeout sections. But these guys were having so much fun just standing on the deck and cheering each other on. That’s something that you just don’t see. It was actually really refreshing.
