As you may have heard, Pipeline has had a winter to remember. Bigger swells have been on offer throughout the season, and surfers have taken advantage. But getting barreled at Pipeline isn’t always fun. In fact, when it’s breaking on the outer reef, it can create some seriously scary hold downs. Hold downs that make you question what you’re doing. The opening few minutes of this video from Parker Seidel demonstrate that perfectly, despite commentary from a wayward rooster (another part of life on the North Shore).
