Mexico is a beautiful place. It has some of the greatest waves on earth, ranging from perfect little longboard runners to macking freight trains that could take your head off. Puerto, when it gets big, falls in the latter category. And never has it fallen so solidly in that category as last year, when a storm of ridiculous proportions whipped the Mexican Pipeline into a frenzy of violence. In the video above, the entire story of a few surfers’ journey to get a few massive waves is told… and it’s probably the best telling yet.
