Ross Clarke-Jones is no stranger to giant waves. He’s made an entire career out of surfing them, in fact. He is—and has been for years—one of the first names that comes to mind when one thinks of big wave surfers. He’s getting up there in age, though… but don’t tell him that. With all his big wave experience, it would be easy to assume that RCJ has surfed The Right at some point. As it turns out, however, he has not. The footage you see above, put together by Rick Rifici, captures the old boy’s first session. And he, along with Kerby Brown and Ben Ruffus, are upstaged entirely by the wave itself.
